Bagpipes and Bonfires

Ascension’s annual Celtic street festival, Bagpipes & Bonfires, will be held Saturday, September 24th from 5:30 – 10:30 PM.  Open to everyone, funds raised at the event help to support Ascension’s programs, including outreach services in the St. Croix valley.

Huge tents will be set up outside the church, at 214 North Third Street, with events taking place in the tents, in the church, and in the open air.  In addition to food & drink, games, and entertainment, both silent and live auctions will be held.

“Bagpipes & Bonfires is open to everyone: parishioners, guests, and the public,” notes Ascension’s Rector, the Rev. Buff Grace.  “Its purpose is to broaden our community support activities through an event that is both fun and meaningful.”
