Bagpipes & Bonfires [games]

Ascension’s softball team will be on hand to look after a variety of games combining skill and luck.  Throughout the evening you can swap a Coin of the Realm for a turn at:

• Hammerschlagen
• Wine bottle ring toss (donations of wine are much needed and appreciated)    

Also taking place will be Ascension’s orthopedically friendly version of two popular Highland Games.  In the Caber Toss, teams will be launching cardboard tubes instead of tree trunks.  And in our Weight Over The Bar, mini hay bales will replace lead weights.  After the team competitions, everyone can attempt to outdo the champions’ best efforts.
