Youth Groups

Junior High
We have many opportunities for our young people to attend different group times.  This too is a booming group of young people, many who have been through our Sunday school programs and are continuing into youth group.   Our Jr. High Youth group starts with 7th graders and this year we have 11 of them signed up.  There are seven 8th graders and fourteen 9th graders.  That’s 32 Jr. High Students!!!!

All of the Jr. High young people meet on Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:50 a.m. up at Manwaring house where Sarah & Chad DeWolf lead them in engaging discussions based on a terrific video series on the Parables of Jesus.

Jr, High also meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Manwaring.  They start out together with a quick check-in, and then 7th and 8th graders stay down stairs with Lori Allaire while 9th graders go upstairs with Mindy.  They come together at the end for prayer.  This is a fun time for all.  Two parents volunteer every Wednesday Evening to help.

Confirmation for 9th Graders
Confirmation Class will begin in January for all youth in 9th grade and above.  This year we expect to have 16 attending!  Christian Ed Director Mindy Boynton and Fr. Buff Grace team teach this class.  Watch for more information coming out in December 2010.

Sr. High Youth Group, 10th-12th Grade
Sixteen Sr. High Youth, most of whom were confirmed last year, will be returning.  This too is a group of teens who have gone all the way through our Sunday school program so we must be doing something right!  They meet every other Sunday afternoon starting on Sept. 19th from 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. up at Manwaring.  This year we will focus on Mission and Ministry in the World.  Watch for more details.
