Counters

Counters are responsible for taking custody of the monetary offerings of the congregation at the conclusion of each service.  Always working in teams of at least two and following a standardized procedure, they count cash and checks, and prepare a tally for the Parish Administrator’s use in accounting for pledges and other offerings.

Each counter is usually assigned to serve during two months of the year.  If a schedule conflict arises, another counter will substitute.  New volunteers are always welcome.
