Julian Guild
The Julian Guild (also known as the Garden Guild) takes care of the annual and perennial gardens around the church. In addition, we also do some pruning of shrubs and occasionally plant memorials.
The guild meets once in the spring and once in the fall to do garden clean up and planting. During the summer, members take turns watering and weeding the gardens – time required is about 2 hours a week. Membership varies but there are usually an average of 5 people who can regularly help with the gardens. Funding for the guild projects comes from the church budget and donations from parishioners.
An interest in gardening and beautifying the church grounds are all that are required to join the garden guild.
