The mission of this ministry looks to provide God’s comfort through prayer for those in times of illness, crisis, or need. The group meets every Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. via Google Meet. A spreadsheet contains our list of prayer requests. We pray for these requests for 30 days and may extend them if need be. The list also includes long-term prayers for the state of the world and the church. Each member is asked to pray through the list daily whenever possible. Our time together also entails a brief study of the Scriptures, normally the gospel text for the following Sunday. By praying for others, the group finds community and renewed faithfulness as messengers of God.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
