What Is PIT Stop?
The Stillwater PIT Stop is a free, collaborative community event that supports individuals and families in need, especially those experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Local churches, nonprofits, Washington County departments, Oak Park Heights Police, healthcare partners, and other community organizations come together to provide a wide range of on-site services, including:
- Warm meals and free haircuts
- Food and gas gift cards
- Vaccinations and personal care items
- Assistance with housing, mental health, transportation, employment, and more
- Health insurance enrollment and assistance
- Legal services and veterans services
Who Is the Event For?
The event is open to anyone in need. Information about the event will be shared widely through partner organizations, shelters, street outreach teams, and programs serving people who are unsheltered or experiencing housing instability.
